    Nokia Lumia 928....

    Good afternoon.

I have a Nokia Lumia 928 that i purchased through Verizon.

When I put in the information to see if it's compatible with Cricket, it comes back and says it is so I can just order a SIM card.

I just want to be sure it is before I order anything. Does anyone know for sure that this phone will work with Cricket?

    Thanks.

I would imagine it would be HSPA+ compatible. Please report your findings.

The Lumia 928 supports a ton of frequency bands, so you can connect to global HSPA+ and LTE networks if Verizon has roaming agreements with those carriers. The phone also has 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi on the 2.4GHz and faster 5GHz bands, along with Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and NFC. Reception was decent and 4G LTE data speeds in Manhattan were on par with what we've been seeing lately.
All Verizon LTE devices are unlocked.

I have that exact same phone, and same situation. I saw that on the site, it came back as compatible. When I took it into the store, the employee told me that the site is not always correct. She told me that it is not compatible, and would not work. (without testing it with a test SIM). So she insists that it will not, but it is not comfirmed to me. It does seem however that the LTE will not work. And I have been trying to find out what the Cricket HSPA speeds are like. Also I put my T Mobile SIM into it and it works. Voice and I was getting 23mbps HSPA+ speeds.

That's correct. I'm almost 100 percent positive there is no Verizon branded phone with AT&T / Cricket LTE bands.

HSPA+ is capped at 4ps. on Cricket. LTE at 8mbps last time I heard anything.
