    is it possible to flash a motorola citrus to cricKet

    i wanna flash one, but haven't even found a custom rom,,,,,i know though that the phone isn't popular

    You might not even need a custom rom but I know that people have flashed it before. We just don't have a tutorial for it.

    I think as long as you can connect to it with QPST/CDMA workshop, you can flash just about any phone to work on some level. If you have it in hand, give it a go and let us know

    I got one at the store, half flashed, didn't think it will be worth the time to fully flash it, honestly I still don't think it will...

    could you dump the rom

    the sbf file is impossible to get and i bricked 18 hrs in, i need to restart

    If you post instructions that I can copy and paste. I honestly don't have time to be messing with this phone, but I'll do it if it can be done within a couple minutes.

    Question

    I allready tried with this phone and im not able to get internet I changed the apns settings, the mip and ppp settings with qpst and write nv items on cdma workshop but it only 7 items are written and in qpst after reset all just got back to normal, and im only get text and calls no internet. this is what I did exactly if someone got an idea please let us know

    This is what I get on the computer
    windows xp
    motorola driver 5.1
    cdma workshop 2.7
    qpst 2.7

    What I did its connect the phone on modem mode and with debuging enabled
    Open qpst and look for the phone it says its says com 8
    open service programing
    in the roam tab click on browse and look for the prl on my case was 45713 an experimental that's its working awesome with my. Droid 2
    on the mip tab edit user profile it should be 0 and make it look like this
    Mobile ip behavior. Mob + simp f/back
    Nai phonenumber@mycricket.com
    tethered nai phonenumber@mycricket.com
    home, primary, and secondary ha adress put all 0

    On the ppp config tab maked look like this

    On um tab under ppp authentication
    tethered nai phonenumber@mycricket.com
    user id phone number@mycricket.com password cricket

    On an tab under ppp authentication
    userd id phonenumber@mycricket.com pasword cricket

    Clicked write to phone
    Open cdma workshop and look for the phone on my case was com 8

    On memory tab click to write nv item and put the ones that I get from whiterabbit.org
    but it says only 7 items was written to the phone
    send mode reset

    After all this take the phone and no 3g on the screen
    I downloaded an direct acces to apns trought market with wifi and changed all the verizon setting to look like this

    Name cricket
    apn internet
    proxy wap.mycricket.com
    port: 8080
    username: phonenumbe@mycricket.com
    password: cricket
    server: wap.mycricket.com
    mmsc:
    http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms



    mms proxy: wap.mycricket.com
    mms port:8080
    mcc: 310
    Mnc: 004
    authentication type: papa or chap
    apn type: default,mms

    Reset and still no internet

    Tried on ##program and changed like this
    Under proxy setting

    Http proxy: wap.mycricket.com
    Http port: 8080
    username: phonenumber@mycricket.com
    password: cricket

    so then after all this no iternet what am I doing wrong?
    any ideas welcome

    Try and remove proxy settings. That you put in under ##PROGRAM menu. No proxy should be required. I've found that proxy settings can crash the browser or cause it not to function correctly with several different Motorola models. Just a thought.
