Smartphone on Cricket Prepaid $1-a-day plan?

Hi, I'm new to the site and I have been searching all over the internet for this answer and I hope I can get it here.

I don't use the phone much. I have AT&T prepaid but it's too over priced and I'm looking to change to Cricket's $1-a-day plan. I would like to know if I buy a Cricket Smartphone could it be activated for that plan? I also thought if it wasn't possible maybe I could activate the Samsung R4500 I have under the $1-a-day plan and then buy a flashed smartphone to see if I can make it work under that plan somehow.

Can anyone suggest me something? Thank you.

as far as i know it is not possible to put a flashed phone onto the 'pay-go' service. all smart phones on the pay-go plans must also be on the $55 plan only.

I found the Cricket "LG Optimus C Android" on craigslist, if I buy it, I can't activate it with the $1 a day plan then. Oh well.....still.....it beats having to pay AT&T.

you may not even be able to activate that on the 'pay-go' service. only the unlimited monthly plans.
