Re: Where can I buy Galaxy Note 2, CDMA, LTE without a contract??

I wouldn't worry right now. Probably need to go buy an unlock code. Tomorrow is the last day for a free sim. Are you signing up under me? Thanks...

Re: Where can I buy Galaxy Note 2, CDMA, LTE without a contract??

Yeah I was trying to but it said my note wasn't compatible with solavei.... But now I have another problem! Got my phone on Craigslist and now I'm stressing of the person I bought it from is gonna pocket the cash I gave them and report the phone stolen... Is there anyway to hack esn's?

Pick another phone to sign up. Doesn't matter if you say you have another model. I wouldn't worry too much about the phone getting reported as stolen.

There are ways to modify ESNs but you get into gray and black areas.

It just sucks because the money I paid in cash.. Do you have a link or article describing ESN modification? I'd like to do a little homework...

I'll see what other phones I have that might work on gsn.. Solavei might prove to be lucrative even with a social networking account.

No since it is a gray area we don't have anything on this site. Just because they don't list the device doesn't mean it won't work. It's a new device... I have an AT&T Note 2 which will probably not get HSPA+ on T-mobile. Otherwise, I'd buy the unlock code.

What makes you think they're going to report it as stolen?

Re: Where can I buy Galaxy Note 2, CDMA, LTE without a contract??

Well what I was told was that people will buy a phone from a carrier with insurance, sell it on Craigslist, then report it stolen, get a new phone, and pocket the money I gave them from buying it on Craigslist. Now I'm short $600 and stuck with a phone that won't work on any carrier... It's pretty fucked up thing to do to someone.

I was told that I have about a month to wait.. If it's not blacklisted within a month I'll probably be ok.

You don't actually have to wait. You can start using it immediately. This isn't going to happen to everyone obviously. You just have to know the signs.

Yeah I'm using it now with tmobile.. They meant that if it's not shut off within a month then I'll probably be ok.. I'm just hoping I can find an ESN fix so I don't have to go through the headache of buying this phone again... Obviously not gonna get it on Craigslist..

Same thing can happen anywhere. I know exactly what you're talking about. Everyone runs the same risk with every carrier/phone.

I guess I should just get used to the gamble of getting a good phone for a good price or losing $600+... Oh well that's life.
