Buying parts, I know lot of end users buy from ebay. Make sure it is from a parts reseller with a good reputation. there are a lot of cheap parts out there that have fail inspection that end of on ebay. If the price is to go be aware.

I use etechparts.com they don't have everything but have high quality. these prices are retail not wholesale. Dealers get a big price break

Nice heads up captainkirks they are slightly more expensive than what we get parts for but they are located 3 hours from me so might use them for a rush part.

Maybe we should start a list of good and bad suppliers.

Manny dealers have different pricings than whats showing. Lot cheaper. Example 4s screen about $33

There no pricing on that site(techrestore.net). how is it what do they charge for a 4s screen?

On etech Dont forget etech had dealer pricing that is different from retail. You work off of tiers on pricing.

I have used flexqueen.com for parts over the years. She is on the west coast, same as me, and I get my parts fairly quickly and if something doesn't work I get a replacement sent before I return the bad part. Honest and reliable. my 2 cents.

    I'd like to recommend
    pacifictoy.com

. I've bought a few screens from them and they respond fairly quickly. I usually get shipments in three or four days. They also have excellent mid frames!

<3 Chris for making this... I need a screen for a Verizon S3 i535 and having this makes me comfortable knowing what some of our pro dealers are using for resources. I can do repairs, but I don't do it professionally although the results are pro quality. Maybe I should do some repairs from my kitchen table as a CL guy. The dealers here are still charging 280 just for the screens without the chassis + labor.... smh

I've been looking around for a dealer for the Iphone 5 screens as well as the s3 screens. Everywhere I have looked it seems they expect you to take out a mortgage on your house or something.

Need help. Have to replace the charging/data port on LG LW690. Can't see how to get the phone apart to get to it. Anyone have a youtube video on how to take one of these apart to replace parts? Help appreciated. The phone is dead currently, and won't have money to replace it for a while. It's well out of warranty, and can't afford to take it somewhere to repair, already have the needed part in hand. Thanks.

Not trying to sound rude but if you can't figure out how to get the phone apart, it is going to be doubtful you can replace the charging port. My advice would be if you can afford a new phone to get on Amazon and look for an external battery charger for about 20 bucks.

This video is close how to take it apart.

But like the post above said if your having trouble taking the phone apart, you might be in big trouble when you have to solder the new port in.

That's another thing I was trying to figure out, if it was just a push in place thing or if it was going to need soldering. This is actually my Husbands phone, I'm just the information gatherer and the parts buyer.
