I'm been doin this all day with the same results! So exactly what file do I need to get back to stock unrooted jb? Something is wrong here.

I flashed his unrooted JB (from his sig link) and phone shows baseband VVMC1 which is JB. Sounds like you downloaded the wrong file. BTW, why do you think you are on ICS?

Stephen does have flashable rooted and unrooted ICS stocks in that post as well.

Stock Unrooted JB System, Kernel, and Recovery
    Part 1:

    d2cri_StockUnrootedJellybean.part1.rar - 400.00 MB

    Part 2:
    d2cri_StockUnrootedJellybean.part2.rar - 259.84 MB

If you want JB, those are the 2 you need if you're trying to re-stock from a custom rom.
but reading up on them, when you ODIN it will also trip the flash counter (?)
If the flash counter is tripped, wont that trigger the modified status ?
I just want to get my ducks in a row before I wind up un-rooting then this possibly not working >.<. flashing a custom recovery always gives me the shakes lol.

You may have to re-root and triangle away. if theres anything on that counter and the system status shows up modified, especially in download mode it probably won't let you do it. even if you're on stock unrooted, there may still be a counter hit not letting it continue. But also again, as I was reading up on Stephens post, the ODIN's may trigger it again... so even after triangling away the count, the re-ODIN may trigger it again.. :S. And you gotta be rooted to Triangle Away... so it's seems like a back and forth catch 22..

The premium suit is basically in the Morph rom.. And with true stock, you're losing a lot.. everything odexed, lacking true init.d support.. Last I ram Morph it was a tad buggy, but its still in beta. It's all there though - multi-window, new gallery, basically all the bells and whistles Cricket just now threw us. Plus, Morph is stock, tweaked, and whathave you. It's a really nice port - just needs a lil work. Maybe just flip back to the DD you were using if this doesnt work - then wait for Morph to become a stable release. Shouldn't be long - because now with the actual Cricket update out, they may possibly be able to use that to the roms benefit.

Sorry wiseoldman. Didn't see your post. I was on ics because it showed as 4.0.4 and I had to use debuggs root method again to gain root and recovery. Twice. This has not happened to anyone?
