AFAIK there's no sure fire way but a little research might shed some light on a few build.prop tweaks that help slightly increase data speeds and signal but again there's no sure fire way. A lot of them are placebos

Other models which have been out a little longer have modem firmware updates, but I know of none for the d2cri.

If there ever are it would be worth it to have a thread for them.

So I've been getting a lot of random freezes with 2/24 and 2/22 usually after taking the phone away from my ear after a call. This is even after clean flashes.

Same here...would freeze coming from the lock screen as well, to the point I had to do a battery pull. Flashed the 2/26 nightly (clean) and haven't had any freezes.

Anyone else having trouble with sending a message longer than 160 characters and it coming out as gibberish on receiver side with 2/26?

^^ this with no workaround aside from using GoSMS

    Edit:
Chris the op needs to be updated with a FAQ sort of addition. I'd be glad to do it for you if I could but I don't expect that kind of authority

Does anyone know how to identify nandroid backups made through ClockworkMod recovery? All of mine are dated for the year 1970 or 1980 and I can't figure out what's what. Is there any way to read the contents of the backups or does anyone know where I can get a stock Cricket GS3 ROM (TouchWiz)?

You can rename your nand in ROM Manager...But, be careful in how you rename them (something to do with the naming string)

The only way is using TiBu to see what the app versions are. If messaging version is 4.0.4 then its tw. If 4.2.x then its CM10.1
