Nice ROM! Unfortunately, my phone doesn't play well with the 3.4 kernel :banghead: My camera won't connect. Did all the wipes and nada. Have the same issue with CM. 3.0 kernel is buttery smooth in earlier versions of CM and Carbon 1.6.1. Time to do some more trouble shooting...

That's odd... idk man. Logs would help. Upload them to pastebin and I can pick through them

I had an issue with the build last night. I have to sort through and see what happened

kk I just did a new build of KT747. Were a few changes. I'll look into your camera issues

After you wipe cache and dalvik, are you running fix permissions? This stood out to me:

    1. 04-18 19:33:35.308 W/QualcommCamera2( 246): int android::camera_device_open(const hw_module_t*, char const*, hw_device_t**): end
    2. 04-18 19:33:35.308 E/CameraClient( 246): Could not open camera 0: -1
    3. 04-18 19:33:35.308 E/CameraClient( 246): initialize: Camera 0: unable to initialize device: Operation not permitted (-1)

If that's not it, there may be a lingering file in /system that's ultimately causing this.... Talking to Shabbypenguin, it happens to some d2mtr (MetroPCS S3) users as well.

Do my usual OCD method but go way over the top:

    CWM > Mounts and Storage > format /system /cache /data
CWM > Advanced > Wipe Dalvik
    CWM > Flash Updated Rom
    CWM > Wipe Cache
CWM > Advanced > Wipe Dalvik
    CWM > Flash Kernel
    CWM > Wipe Cache
CWM > Advanced > Wipe Dalvik
CWM > Advanced > Fix Permissions

Boot and use Rom Manager to do another Fix Permissions and reboot to CWM

    CWM > Wipe Cache
CWM > Advanced > Wipe Dalvik

    Reboot

Sounds like a bit much, but that's what seems like it's going to take to remedy this issue for you, but once you do it once, it should work. Also do not use TiBu backups of anything.
