How do you tell if it's doing anything? I've been at this screen for something like 20 minutes. Phone is in downloading mode, Odin says Checking MD5 please wait. Last time, it said the MD5 was invalid. I'm worried about unplugging it.

update: now odin just isn't responding.

2nd Update: Now, I have a custom Rom (Cameleon), no gapps, my CWM is gone, and I can't verify signatures to get anything to install. I've still never been able to get ODIN to work, but without GPS and such, my delivery job is kinda screwed. Any ideas?

3rd update: I flashed the TWRP.tar through ODIN. I can see now the problem is that ODIN will not finish checking the MD5 of the JB stock .tar file. I'm not sure what to do to fix this, I've downloaded it a few times. I flashed into a different ROM so that I at least have my maps and stuff, but my cam went out. I'd just like to get it all back to stock still if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong or a different link for the MD5 JB stock file.

I am having a hard time from starting from a clean rom. I am trying to downgrade my phone back to ics from jb premium. I have wiped everything and formatted everything but the baseband is still from jb premium (R530CVVBMD6). I am using a ics flash stock recovery, system, kernel. I want the baseband to match the build version in ics

no, I am stuck on trying to fix the volume on my in-call volume. My incall volume is about two notches louder on the flashed ics that I got from this page but the baseband and build numbers were wrong in the flash so I was unable to upgrade to jb, then Stephen provided a jb stock and I installed it and the incall volume was low, I have even upgraded to premium and the incall was still low. I went back to ics and sound was loud again. So I want to start from scratch from ics with the right build number and baseband. I also thing there is a difference in firmware or whatever, from kies to ota. But I want a working ics so I can do the upgrade from OTA and not from kies, since I was able to upgrade from jb to premium through kies with still low incall volume. When I first got my phone I upgraded to jb and the sound and everything was great, but the keyboard was different, Samsung took away swipe and autocorrect. Now I did my upgrade through OTA and other members have had this problem with the keyboard but it seems most of cricket user use kies because we want to update now and they do not seem to have a problem with the keyboard, anyway, I got a stock keyboard from some other site and soft bricked my phone so I had to use a ics flash from this page and that is when my sound went low.

Was anyone ever able to make a flashable JellyBean recovery? Flashed the latest JB, then flash the CWM to be able to flash the root file, but would love to be able to flash the recovery back to the stock JB. Possible? Anyone? Guys you are great, I'm sure someone has done this.

Do you have drop box or google drive? Maybe you can repost for all to have since links are dead

Do you have the ics stock rom with the modems are they different then jellybean your trying to get back to that old baseband from ics thats what i need to

Im assuming its how i get the 16 digit passcode working

Since i read they all changed with the jellybean update

And you need to use a certain modem with other versions verizon sprint usc all have the codes
