Looks like this was answered, but yes disable Knox. Then find SU in apps then should be good to go.

It seems SE for Android is blocking it. Does anyone knows how to get fix this?

First off I didn't root with this method so I know nothing of it. What exactly does it do after the shield pops up?

If your not to worried about tripping the Knox counter and your familiar with Odin here's another way to gain root access in this thread by sandman: cf-auto root

I went ahead and tried this rooting method twice and got the same results. I don't know why it works for some phones and not for others

besides loosing insurance what else do you loose by triggering the knox boot-loader out of curiosity?
insurance will cover your phone even if you trip knox, the deductible is $200 right now. and the "handset protection program" costs $10 extra per month.

tripping the knox will void the warranty. Samsung and cricket guarantee your phone is free of defects for 12 months. As long as the phone isn't dropped, wet, or cracked. it's got a warranty.

beyond the warranty, Samsung will still fix your phone if you pay them as far as i know.

Yeah, I'm getting the same thing. I'm using the most up to date CWM. Not sure what to do about it at this point. Definitely makes me hesitate to flash new ROMS. I want to do AT's OMNI ROM, but don't want the hassle of redoing all of the stock ROM set-up if I want to go back. Hopefully somebody has some insight.

Yup. I've tried multiple times on the latest version of both of the recoveries and all I end up doing is reflashing my rom thru Odin again. I have no problem flashing a 4.3 rom(cm 11,omni, ect.) it's just the backup.
