OC kernel for the Cricket S3

    Coming soon. Stay tuned...

Have a friend pulling sources now and I'll be taking over the development as soon as I get my power supply.

Running the first build now. I'm using the official CM10.1 kernel to play with for now since most of the work being done on it is stability and memory fixes. I'll be testing this later for sure

    Edit:
Scrapped the first build right off the bat in favor of doing more research and looking over other S3 kernels. Didn't even test the first build yet because I don't think it will actually enable the OC/UV

I got it all hammered out for a tester to see if it will work. It's building now. We'll see in a bit if it builds or boots

I meant to say a tester kernel not for a human test. I'm going to experiment on my own s3 first but I need to make sure it's going to boot.

    Edit:
First kernel built but didn't boot, but second one built and booted. No OC yet though.

    Edit 2:
Cranking out the 5th build of the night. #1 didn't boot, #2 booted without OC/UV, #3 &4 didn't boot, and #5 is building as I type this.

    Edit 3:
5th build booted but still no OC or UV

    Side note:
I'm working with pio_masaki @ Thrive Forums and ktoonsez @ XDA to get this project running. For the most part, I'm using kt's OC/UV code with a few minor mods of my own on a CM10.1 official kernel base

Not my kernel but its one I'm running atm. The USC version of KT747 kernel boots and runs on our S3. From what I can tell everything works as well. It doesn't support GPU overclocking atm, but I would imagine soon. Don't rush into flashing this kernel as I have experienced random reboots (to be expected really), freezes, screen not registering touches, and a few other things.

It has a few problems even on the USC S3 but ktoonsez is working them out. I may scrap my own project in favor of porting his kernel properly to our S3.

    Edit:
On second thought I'll just stick with my kernel due to other issues I'm reading about. The OC and UV code is definitely solid. I just need to get it incorporated and activated in my own source.

Didn't even give it a shot.... Regardless it wouldn't take too much to port it.

    Edit:
Shabby is right about the camera... Just saying. Well work on porting it later
