Good news everybody. AOKP is finally building!

    Edit:
    Built.... time to test

    Edit 2:
AOKP Build 1: No MMS, but it's going to be an easy fix. Seems APNs were left out.

    Edit 3:
Pushed apns-conf.xml pulled from stock rom to AOKP build 1 on the phone rebooted and mms works as expected. Build 2 will be published

    Edit 4:
Before I publish, I'm confirming a change to the original AOKP files as working. They have outdated Cricket APNs and I'm submitting them and the vendor and device trees as soon as I clean up my source trees. I doubt they'll build for us, but I can at least get the changes to them for everyone else and for the future releases of AOKP.

Kk let me update the kernel builds and get ChameleonOS built. Then I have Synergy ROM and that'll be next.

Its just me and Mustang right now. He and I need to get together and actually collaborate to do these if he'd be willing to do requests with me.

Before I started doing these you guys do know I didn't have a flippin clue how to do any of this right?

Also anyone can do this if you pay attention to detail. XDA + Rootz + Google are the best resources. Sometimes with Google, you find stuff you're searching not related to android that works. Again as I've said before, Android is built on Linux so a lot of problems with kernels and drivers can be solved by just researching. Like the AOKP builds I have done... I had issues getting proper builds, but a Linux kernel thread on a Linux site solved my problem.

The more of these I do and the more I build these, the more I learn.

Anyone can do this and if more are willing to step to the plate, we can put Cricket S3 development on the map. If you're interested, PM me. I will say a basic knowledge of Linux and command line is greatly beneficial, but you can learn as you go like I am. I had never used git or repo, but I'll be fluent with them before too long.

OP has been editted to reflect that source builds are available. I only have the 1 PC and until I can build a new one I'm limited to around 8 daily source builds (I do them when I sleep after the first one). If the rom has source, it's fair game. Most of the rom threads I start are in fact source builds with the exception of anything to do with stock roms or TW.

    I downloaded Synergy from
    ☆ ★ | ROM | SynergyROM VZW S3 | JB 4.1.2 | Floating Multiwindows! | Apr 20 r484 |★ ☆ - xda-developers

and tried it. The Aroma installer had an option for Cricket. I used that, but data and wifi didn't work. Seems like it is a really nice rom though. Looking forward to when SP or Mustang can get around to making it work for us!

I already gave the necessary files that synergy needed to support cricket I'm just waiting on a response from them. Also Hyperdrive Rom team contact me and ask for some support as well so all we waiting for is a fully working Cricket Rom release from both of them.

I pmd them in xda with a link to the apns-conf.xml and with the info that has to be changed in the build.prop

You can manually edit the build.prop and use adb to push the apns-conf.xml if you want

Unfortunately, I am not quite as talented in that area as you SP! You make it all sound so easy! Thanks again for all of your help.
