Problems Rooting Cricket Samsung Galaxy S3

I just want to root my phone, i already have the official cricket OTA jellybean update which is 4.1.2.. However I've tried to root the phone using several different methods the last being Stephen Proffitts Root + Recovery method. Long story short ODIN gives me an md5 error when i try to use this file...

    Stock Rooted JB System Only:
    Part 1:

    d2cri_RootedSystemOnlyJB.part1.rar - 400.00 MB

    Part 2:
    d2cri_RootedSystemOnlyJB.part2.rar - 258.03 MB

and this is the error i get from ODIN:

    <ID:0/004> Added!!
    <OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
    <OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> MD5 hash value is invalid
    <OSM> d2cri_RootedSystemOnlyJB.tar.md5 is invalid.
    <OSM> End...

Can someone plz help!!! Thanks in advance

change .tar.md5 to .tar and if that fails, use my other root method which is recovery and root.
My work on the CDMA Cricket S3 and S4 are now obsolete. Thanks for all the support when I was actively working on them!

Yes but you must use sprint recovery. It doesn't affect your flash
