Logic board swap - Ray 0 - Bad Luck 1

I got a steal on a logic board from an AT&T M919 Galaxy S4 to see if it would work in my Cricket S4 (my just-in-case last resort, and it's fun). If you can find a logic board for $60 or $70, it is a good option. That particular board didn't have all of the connections the Cricket S4 has. It was one antenna coax short. So I'm going to re-sell it and find another steal on e-Bay. There are three versions that appear to have the proper connections: L720 from Sprint, P717 from AT&T, and the I545 from Verizon. I know there is info on the site about the band compatibility of the Verizon and Sprint boards. I'll have to find it and see if they would work on the AT&T network. By the way, bad luck will usually get 2 or 3 runs before Ray hits a grand slam. I'll keep you posted.

LTE will not be available with the Verizon and Sprint boards. That's no fun, so I'll be looking for more compatible AT&T and T-Mobile logic boards. Thanks for the info.

    Ray - KO'd.
No AT&T or T-Mobile S4 Logic boards will match up, connection wise. Sprint and Verizon boards look like they will match up, but their GSM radios don't use all of the AT&T bands, so I wouldn't get LTE. Oh well, I tried.

I had the same idea with a cricket s3 and putting an at&t logic board in it. That was a fail also. There is something on the back of the t999 board that is not there on the r 50 board and the back will not close. :-(

The AT&T boards appear to be very similar except for that second coax connector.
