Speck first got my attention with their CandyShell grip case for the HTC One X. It was a great case, however the area around the power button was prone to breaking. While this didnít bother me much (it didnít completely tear off or anything) it did bother my wife a lot.

The case for the HTC One features a much more durable piece around the power button. It still bugs my wife because your finger will most likely push up against it when trying to push the power button. I guess that is what we get for having the IR blaster/power button combo.

I chose the CandyShell Grip over the CandyShell for grip and to prevent the case from getting really scratched. At an MSRP of $34.95 it falls within the same range of protection and price as the Incipio DualPro, Trident Aegis, and

Commuter. Iím sure Iíll have more cases on the way. I need to consolidate my list of videos sometime.
