@ Home Speed Test Comparison (Post Your Results)

Well I moved from Round Rock to Austin and there are more options however I stayed on the same plan. This is Road Runner/Time Warner Cable's Extreme Cable Internet...

For 50 more bucks a month I could get up to 50mbps and perhaps up to 5mbps up. That's a lot of dough for a lot of bandwidth that's hardly going to be used though...

Same provider. My up speed is pretty slow. Limited up due to infrastructure according to the local guys.

I'm pretty happy with it tho.

And this is the web at the store, via Comcast.

They are about the same price.

EDIT: I should mention this is a business plan called the 12/2. Supposed to be 12 down and 2 up. Good numbers considering.

I think I'm on the Blast! plan with Comcast which should be 16 Mbps down but with Powerboost up to 20 Mbps. I usually get between 15 Mbps and 25 Mbps down. I don't pay much attention to upload.

I use Vonage and don't have many problems. I've also downloaded things off of my HD-DVR with DirecTV and it usually downloads at a reasonable rate. If I wait maybe thirty seconds I can stream HD without a problem.

I'll post speed tests at another time.

I just did a speed test but I can't post it. It's embarrassing. Let me check to make sure there isn't anything else running and I'll connect the Ethernet cable and see how it is.
