I am thinking the same thing.... I am afraid that means Cricket will either be bought or will buy someone else.... Say Sprint.... If you notice this is a reverse merger, so in the end Metro would have bought T-mobile.... I think we will be next....

this is crazy.. but i wonder if all the metro customers will have to go under contract...that might actually hurt their sales. A lot of people do not like contracts... so we will see where this ends up

I doubt that since T-mobile has a large prepaid base too.... T-mobile's prepaid base is almost as large as their post-paid base

And the new statements keep rolling in.... metro is no longer a CDMA carrier

    Hello Friends,

T-Mobile USA and MetroPCS have agreed to merge, joining together two of the nation's largest low-cost wireless carriers. T-Mobile USA will merge with smaller rival MetroPCS Communications Inc., PCS -0.87% a deal that would give the fourth-largest U.S. wireless carrier more scale as it tries to compete with the industry's leaders. A deal with MetroPCS will help T-Mobile bulk up but won't remove several big hurdles as it struggles to compete with much-larger rivals. The combined company will remain the only national carrier that doesn't sell Apple Inc.'s AAPL -2.21% iPhone, a predicament that has contributed to losses of 1.7 million contract customers at T-Mobile in the 12 months to June 30.

    Thanks And Regards.

T-Mobile Will Keep MetroPCS's VoLTE Service Alive (Phone Scoop)

With T-Mobile stating they are going to be dropping MetroPCS's CDMA network, where does that leave Leap on their cross roaming agreement with Metro. A LARGE portion of our "Nationwide" coverage comes from Metro....
