    I tried

Ive been trying them both over and over. Nothing. At boot screen it says file system locked. I think I need that compile there talking about for my cricket sgs4. Im just REAL weak at linux and after I did compile it idk what to do with it. Ording says it all goes thru, but when I reboot its like nothing ever happened. Did you look at my screen shot by chance?

    ----UPDATE----

"Vol-DOWN" "Home" and "Power" I decided to play a little bit and it frign WORKS.

I just had to hold "Vol-UP" "Home" "Power" Not down but UP. Nice. Thank you for all your help

Bahahah I am a dyslexic dumb #$@%. Its right there in front of me

"4) Hold volume up and power to enter recovery"

Sorry to waste your time. and thanks again.

Everything worked great thanks for the info. Had some hiccups here and there but nothing that common sense wouldn't solve.

    2) Connect your phone and copy them to your phone
    3) Once they are copied power down your device
    4) Hold volume up and power to enter recovery

Went perfectly until I tried to install the SuperSU zip. I downloaded a couple of times but still am getting a "Signature Verification Failed" error message during install from SD.

    Any thoughts?

Seems like it ate my last post. I followed everything fine, but when i tried to run the SuperSU from recovery, it fails and gives me a Signature Verification error. I ran SuperSU on reboot and it told me that there is no SU binary installed. Do i need to run through the process all over again?

After step 13, i got an option to do stock recovery. I chose no, then yes to root. Did I do something wrong?

if you get a signature error then its because you didnt have the recovery flashed, you were in stock recovery

Lemme give it a shot and I will see if the options continue to confuse me... i really am smart I promise...

    Directions:

    1) Download the above files
    2) Extract Odin3-3.04.zip and copy the tar that you downloaded into the folder
    3) Run Odin as an administrator
    4) Power your device off
    5) Press and hold volume down, home, and power to enter download mode
6a) Connect your phone to your computer
6b) Wait for drivers to finish installing if they need to be
    7) You should see Odin find your device by marking a blue square in the ID COM box
    8) Click on PDA and choose the recovery tar you downloaded
    9) Click start
    10) when it says finished you need to beat your phone in a race
    11) you need to unplug it and press and hold vol up, power, and home until the blue text appears
    12) let go :P
13 once you have booted into recovery it will handle the script that installs stock recovery if its present.

When I get to this point, i get to CWM recovery and choose to reboot. I am then presented with two options. Yes, and No. I chose Yes this time. It then asks me if I want to root. I chose Yes. It then reboots my phone. At this point. I power down the phone and press Vol Up and Power until i see my blue text indicating that im booting into recovery. I boot into what looks like stock recovery, I choose update from external card, and choose my .zip for Super SU. During the process I get two red lines of text indicating a signature verification failed message.

    Am I missing something?
