I am getting no mobile data at all on the new nightlies. Is there an apn config file I should be using?

I haven't tried cm11 since they went to unified builds but the KT-SGS4 kernel for aosp 4.4 fixed that for me personally

I ran into the same problem. It didn't start until I used the unified builds after 3/1. I ended up using the Rom Manager app and reflashing to the M3 snapshot. But I had to delete all data and cache information or I would have processes stopping all over the place.

I'll play around with it if I can get to it. Working on a native kernel for TW 4.4 atm

Well I know how to fix the data issue myself I had to do it on my own because no one gave me the right answers did appreciate the little help tried your kernel didn't work my LTE would drop randomly no data in kitkat then my data would randomly come back. so I took the apn from the cm 10.2.0 stable rom deleted the apns from the cm 11 rom (nighly or snapshot either works) and flashed the apns from 10.2.0 & guess what my data didn't randomly go away anymore. for months I couldn't enjoy 4.4 until I tried this hope it helps

gunshot...you wouldn't happen to know what those APN's were so they could be posted?

And in another note, I could really use some help. I'm stuck in permanent roaming, so that means the only way to use my phone is to have wifi. I tried Odin flashing back to stock 4.2, but I still have the same problem. Has anyone ran into this and found a fix?

Nope jus restored all of the ones from the stable build & that was it didnt chose a APN from the setting jus left them like that & jus go to mobile network after a fresh flash & set it to cdma+LTE/evdo on preferred network & system select on automatic & cdma subscription on ruim/sim then reboot right after that worked for me but if your on 4.4 you have to do that & put the APNs to have stable data

I found another fix that might help the data problem. It's a pain but it brought me back from the brink.

    Yeah.
That problem took all day of downloading and tweaking. Wish I had found that sooner. I'm just glad it's working again and I don't have a nice plastic brick!

Can you elaborate on "restoring" the APNs? What did you use to do that? Do I just use a root file explorer and copy over the /etc/apns-conf.xml file?

Ok. I tried that, following the steps exactly. I still can't get ANY mobile data on any build since 2/17 (just before they went to the unified build). I upgraded my baseband version by installing the latest stock ROM, and tried again. Same thing... Anybody having any luck on the latest unified nightly builds?

(just to be clear, I have a backup of the 2/17 build, so I've not been without data the whole time, I just can't use the latest nightly updates)

    (just to
