    Samsung Dscover sch-R740C Stock OTAP 4.1.2 Update

    this the the stock 4.1.2 update.. place the zip folder on root of sd card and update from 4.0.4 baseband VVMl1 and build VVAMl1 then u can apply this update to 4.1.2 ( You must have stock recovery),

    Thanks for this, but for whenever I try to apply it, I get a Status 7 error with apply_patch_check /system/bin/ddexe

    I had stock, but I fixed my own issue with replacing ddexe with one from a backup I found online, then updated it via the Recovery Settings and then got it working

    OK: New Issue, Now I can't root the Phone due to the new update, Any idea on what to do?

    so there was a couple of firmware updates abut 14mb before this one came out. update it to baseband VVMl1 build VVAMl1 then u can apply this update

    Also make sure all of your apps are not corrupt as any corrupt file can also lead it an Status 7 Error (trust me )

    no files were corrupted. i used this zip on like 5 discover and no problems except for the one that didnt have the baseband VVMl1 build VVAMl1

    I meant the file inside the phone already, not from the zip file (like what happened with me with ddexe)

    UPDATE: I fixed my root issue by flashing the CWM for the Phone from XDA, selected the Fix Root option, then installed SuperSU via the Play Store, then installed the SU Binary via CWM and Boom, My Root is Back!
