Cricket/AIO update for Cricket Moto G

II chatted online with Cricket and they confirmed that their Moto G will be updated OTA with the latest update 4.4.3 but couldn't tell me when that update will be released...just said it would be "soon".

Has anybody received the OTA update or have any more information about it than I do?

The update includes improved dialer and Motorola alerts along with other features for the Moto G.

OTA updates wouldn't affect the bootloader. But I wish Cricket/AT&T would remove any bootloader locks.

The thread asked if anyone has any further information about the update. I'm curious about your question about the bootloader in this thread.

Wow. That seems a bit harsh. :-\ At least recognize that he gave your thread a free bump.

Apologize if I seemed "harsh", that was not my intent. Just curious if he knew something about the update needing a bootloader unlock. Guess I wasn't clear. So much for posting when fighting a cold. Thanks for pointing this out. Enjoy your 4th of July!

He wished they would remove the lock so that answered my question. I was hoping he chatted about the bootloader and they had an answer. Im cool with it.

4.4.3 WILL NOT HAPPEN ON THE AIO MOTO G AS MOTO HAS STOPPED THE ROLL OUT OF 4.4.3 DUE TO THE OPENSSL ISSUE WITH SECURITY. MOTO WILL GO DIRECTLY TO 4.4.4/.... BUT WHO CARES ABOUT 4.4.X WHEN ANDROID L WILL BE OUT... I REALLY HOPE WE GET THE L... BUT REMEMBER ON AIO OUR DEVICE IS CONTROLLED BY ATT MOTHERSHIP.... IT MAY NEVER COME EVEN THE 4.4.4 UPDATE....

So... Now that Motorola has fully confirmed that all versions of the Moto G are getting Android Lollipop, is there a chance that cricket will push the update to us?
