    Hello

Hello everyone, new here from Chicago.

quick question. What exactly is the process of flashing a phone over to Cricket? I currently do not have Cricket service but plan on switching over soon. I have a Sprint iPhone 4 and Evo Lte that I want to activate with Cricket. Do I need to purchase a Cricket phone or can I just sign up using my current Sprint phone?

Welcome! You got to get an account first or get an account while having your phone flashed at the same time at a store. Pretty sure you won't get anyone to flash your iPhone though.

The Evo LTE can be flashed but the LTE part won't work:

    Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Thanks for the quick reply. I assume it depends on the store but can I simply walk in with the Evo and ask them to flash? I can do the actual flashing part myself but not sure how I go about getting an account without having to buy a phone from the cricket store.

You can call into Cricket's customer service and they can start it up for you I'm sure. If not go into a local store and they can put the flashed phone on a new account for you.
