I'd Like To Welcome Mr. Paul Wilson To The Forum

    Hello CricketUsers,

Paul Wilson here and I'd like to say that I'm happy to be in a place that's very passionate about Cricket.

I believe I'm in the right place.

My current phone for Cricket is the Samsung Messenger II also known as the SCH-r560.

I intend on getting a new phone next month.

Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself and I'll be glad to hear from you.

    Wish you well,

    Paul Wilson

Thank you for the warm welcome folks! Avenue to answer your question, I'm going to either get The Huawei Mercury or The Samsung Indulge.

I would definitely get the Huawei Mercury if I were you, unless I really needed a full keyboard.

The Huawei's screen size should be good enough so it's easy to text, but some prefer just prefer a keyboard.

Which phone are you leaning towards so far?

I'm leaning towards the Huawei Mercury. It's an offer too good to pass up. Here's why:

Upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
8.0 MP Camera with 2MP Front Face
    854X480 Resolution
    4" Screen
    1.4 GHZ processor and more

Even if I have to wait it out, it would be better than buying a phone that I could dislike later.

Cricket does have that 30 Day/30 Minute Policy.

The Indulge is Nice, yet it's on Android 2.2 Froyo and they may not provide an upgrade.

and It's only a matter of time before that phone becomes quickly outdated. Look at The Sanyo Zio.

Yeah, I doubt the Samsung Indulge is going to get an update.

I'm glad Huawei committed to providing an update so early. It was months ago that we first heard of the phone getting an update.
