I know the too ridiculousness of the price almost makes me just wanna keep it. But I wanna get enough money to buy Virgins nice android phone and get the $35/month plan, since most of my minutes are used over VOIP anyways 300 is more than enough. If you don't know their great plan its:

    -300minutes/month
-Unlimited Text web data and email. All for just $35/month thats the price im lookin for.
-But this Android is a beast and I would keep it if I could flash to a different network than cricket...too many issues since im in a 'Tri-band' area. Any ideas boost mobile??

I just made the switch to Boost and think I will stay awhile. I'm on their $50 unlimited everything with shrinkage. It drops $5 every 6 months with on time payments. I get great coverage, 3g, and access to Sprint apps. No 4g unless you activate thru Clearwire and pay extra.

***DISCLAIMER***getting an EVO on Boost does require using a donor phone or repairing the meid or whatever you want to call it.

Also, I did see on another thread about someone getting the Sprint Sero plan with 4g for like $50 I think.

I'd like to get Boost but I don't want something that isn't really allowed (getting a Sprint phone on Boost).

U need either a Boost phone or there are a lot of Sprint phones that u can put on Boost without problems. The only Sprint phones that require a donor are EVO, EVO 3D, Epic, and other premium phones.

To flash back to sprint, download the official sprint ruu.zip file. Place is on the root of your SD card and boot into the bootloader(volume down + power button). Once there, press the volume down button and let it load. This will put your phone back to sprint. Also, this will remove your recovery.

U will also need to load a sprint prl back on it. U may be able to ##786# and hit menu, reset to get it back.

Cricket will allow any phone on their network. Boost is a Sprint prepaid carrier and sprint doesn't allow their phones to go thru the cheaper Boost carrier. they want u to pay higher and go thru Sprint of u want the premium phones.

Actually, I think u can just load a prl on it, reboot, then ##786#>menu>reset. This should get your Sprint data/mms settings back on it. And leave your recovery in tact.
