This will probably be one of the first GSM devices on Cricket Wireless. It's no surprise as it is being carried over from AIO.

I don't know what is going on, but at the time of this article I can't click the details button on AIO's website for this device. It gives a 404 not found error.

I do have the specifications below though:

    • Dual core 1.4 Ghz
    • 4" LCD Display
    • 5MP camera with flash
    • 1GB RAM / 4GB ROM
    • Jellybean 4.1.2
    • 1785 mAh battery

Thanks for confirming that Kingo works. I've made a separate root thread with links to Kingo.

I just got the Phone today because of I wanted to Switch over ASAP and I'm loving it, the main features I like compared to my previous phone (Samsung Galaxy Discover):

    * Better Music App (For the Discover, I had to download a seperate one, I do NOT like using Google Play Music to listen to my local files)
    * Processor Speed (Runs Skylanders: Lost Islands WAY Better than the Discover )
    * Camera with Flash (Haven't uploaded a test image to show my folks yet though )
    * The Fact that I can now USE Data in Underground when I'm riding a train or in my mall (+1 for the Merger )

I want to root my ZTE Sonata to allow tethering. Will rooting it allow tethering and if so, do you know how to do it with a ZTE Sonata?

Also, will rooting erase all my apps and settings that are already in my ZTE Sonata phone?

    Thank you.

    Thank you for responding!

Was tethering a priority for you after rooting it? IOW, have you tried a lot of different methods or just a few?

If I recall, Tethering is against the new Cricket's ToS anyway, also if it's anything like the one company I was with, then buy and use the Root Explorer app by SpeedSoftware, it can work wonders with deleting troublesome apps
