No luck. This windows phone does not offer to have me change the following listed in BOLD:

Multimedia message proxy (MMS Proxy): proxy.mobile.att.net
Multimedia Message Port (MMS Port): 80
    MCC: 310
    MNC: 150
    Authentication Type: default,mms,supl,hipri,fota
    APN protocol: IPv4
    APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4
Turn APN on/off: (check marked) APN Turned on
    Bearer: unspecified
Mobile virtual network operator type: non
Mobile virtual network operator value: Not set

I believe my next step will be to do a hard phone reset. I read elsewhere that there are likely settings that are set when the phone is new that can not be changed manually, but that a reset may change those settings to the ones needed to work with cricket.

I will let you know how it goes.
    Thanks

I tried the hard reset... 3 times trying different restore points and then no restore point at all. Also re-input both suggested mms apn settings. Still not working ... can not get the media to work in texts messages.

    Any other suggestions?

Update: Last night, after searching and finding the AccessPoint App (from windowsphone site), I input both the ATT and Cricket apn settings post in this forum. Still nothing worked. This morning my phone had several updates for several apps that had re-installed after the hard reset. This morning... for the heck of it... I tried sending a picture... it worked! Tried having my wife send me a picture. It did not work... Crazy... I don't get it. Why would sending work but receiving not work. i am currently connected to the Cricket APN Settings.

    Any ideas?

    Another update:
I just tried using the ATT connection... nothing worked. I re-connected the Cricket apn settings and the send worked again but receive did not.

I just checked it out on my computer. The screen shots look like the access point one. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Will have to do it later though. Let you know what happens.
    Thanks for the suggestion.

I had that issue with my wife's vzw s3. It's apn related. I got the reception to work but I can't get it to send now. I'm still playing with it. When I get it sorted out I'll post the howto

I downloaded and checked it out. It seems to only be a quick link to get the "standard stock" apn settings screen. Actually has less to offer than the Access Point app.

I think I am screwed... unless the os upgrade in July does something to fix the situation. I think Cricket should inform people of the issue with Verizon Windows phones. Just inputting the imei number then saying it is compatible is a bit deceiving.

After researching for several days, I have found that this problem has been around for a very long time and so far there has not been a fix... Cricket needs to be honest and post this issue.

I still don't understand why I am now able to send mms... but just not able to receive mms. Weird!

Anyway, if I am able to find a fix or the upgrade fixes it... I will update all here.

I downloaded "mobile network+" and input the apn info. It did nothing to fix it.
