    Adding funds to Cricket account

I was exploring the mycricket website and on the my account page, I saw a link for add funds. Since I'm paying for the phone for my mom, I thought, hey why not add funds so they would be there for the next bill. I added a little money to future charges and instead off adding funds, it prepaid the next month bill. This is OK, but not what I had in mind.

On the Flex Bucket for Mobile # - this sounds like be more more what I had in mind (balance available for some use), but the Flex Bucket does not mention that the funds are available for future regular phone bills.

    Thoughts?

Flexbucket credits can NOT be applied to phone bill.
Your phone bill is separated from flex bucket.

If you put credits in your flex bucket, you can also use this for features such as RBT (Ring back tones), Music, Games etc.
You can not use your flex bucket to pay for your bill.

Thanks for the reply - I'm glad I didn't pick the Flex bucket. Not a big deal now that I know how things work - think the term for the link "add fund to account" is misleading, but would have been nice if it real allowed having a fund. I'll consider the automatic bill payment or investigate and pay from my bank bill pay.

Rather strange limitation - one would think Cricket would love to have the money up front - but better things to worry about.

    Thank you for the info.
