Ahh you did kind of throw me a curveball there since you do have the correct settings it seems.

Are you using u2nl and autostart or just the proxy settings in your phone (editable via anycut or similar) to route the Internet?

I believe it consist of the autostart.sh and autostart root with a apn.XML file. The 3g world great on my phone is just that when i tether and I configure the computer to use Cricket proxy I wont let me get off the portal page. I'm thinking that it just needs a way of authenticating my user name and pass so I could get access beyond the portal, by the way, what app are you using for tethering?

Well that is the preferred method (u2nl and autostart). I've had better luck with wifi tether.

    What browser are you using?

I'm guessing if you don't use the proxy settings, it goes nowhere... I've never had to use a method to re enter username or password.

So in IE you're going to tools > internet options > connections > lan settings > proxy server. Then you're checking the box for the proxy server and entering the address wap.mycricket.com and then on the port side you've changed it to 8080?
