Waiting on 2.3, but, does your PRL remain the same after the flash? (I think it would, since I'm 99% sure ROMS don't touch PRLs)
Next, what happens if you *228, do you get the Cricket message for programing, or does it give you a message from the other tower providers you're "roaming" on?

Wow that's really weird then... when you say the phone says you're roaming, do you mean it has the triangle near the signal bars? or some other message?
Also, does data work? I think when you're truly roaming with Cricket, you usually get voice/txt, but no data, I could be wrong though.

I plan to hold off on Gingerbread until Fresh comes out with their version of it... unless it takes too long and I get impatient

so I got bored/curious today, flashed a GB ROM from:

    [ROM][STOCK] --- Version 4.22.651.2 --- Odexed & De-Odexed --- - xda-developers

    (supersonic_4.22.651.2_deodexed_060511-signed-.zip)
Mostly to see if it might help my slow upload issues (it did not, woohoo 4 kbps!)
I did not receive a roaming prompt when making calls
Currently using the PRL that came down via *228 (45513)

hey, if you have some free time, can you share some of your EVOs settings?
    see my thread here: http://www.cricketusers.com/sprint-h...qpst-info.html
Hoping one of those options is the source of my current troubles
