Awesome! I will add to the mms topic, you may also have to use a diferent MMS app such as chomp, or go sms so you can edit the MMS limit size to 500k.

Speaking of actually flashing a phone. I have not yet flashed a phone. Can you point me in the right direction. What threads contain the info that tells what software is required, etc...that is my next step

I would check out the Flashing Tools and Files (programming) thread on this forum. There is pretty good info in there. For me I used google A LOT I can't remember what threads I used off the top of my head but I found pretty much all of my answers on here, and XDA. But for the most part you will use a progran called QPST to flash a phone to get talk and txt to work. In some incidences you will use greenK45 to get data working. I am still very rookie at flashing phones, I learn something new everytime I log into these forums.

Scroll down where it says RTSP proxy port: change this to 0

Below that change RTSP proxy address to 0.0.0.0

below that change HTTP PD PORT to 0

Below that change HTTP address to 0.0.0.0

    See if this helps.

    Thank you, Flare!

Hey Flare, I just wanted to say thanks. I'm running the r3chargeD ROM and I had my MMS working but no YT so I just figured it was whatever and I'll just go without which bummed me out but then I found this thread and ALL I had to do was switch on WiFi and my media streaming worked and when WiFi was switched off it didn't. You'd think it would be something complex but it was such a simple solution! Thanks again!

I flashed my cousins evo using the exact steps but instead of using 13k I had to use evrc, it was the only way for the phone to call cricket. Yt was working fine but just stopped working, it's running the synergy rom. I tried the method posted earlier and none worked. It only works with wifi on. Doesn't wifi kill battery?

Spc is 6 digit code on every android phone on the market. It like a lock to ur treasure chest. If u flash it already ur self then u have it (000000) and if not then u can get by cdma ws or root with msl reader from google play(market). I hate the name change.

i dont mean to hijack a thread, but instead to keep everything related in this same one.

I did the zeroing all the proxies and ports... but I DID press menu AND commited the changes!!!

and i dont know if its because of that but the youtube fails very often.. after 3 mins..maybe 5....

how do i go back to default settings so i can redo all again but withouth messing it up.

i have done everything as possible to get youtube and pandora and other stream apps to run and none of them are working on the 3G network. Browser works fine and Facebook as well, MMS and text and call. Besides that nothing else.
I have done the steps to modify the RSTP to all zeros and either 254.254... even left wi-fi on but not connected, no results. Please any one does know any other method ? Also i have seen some videos on youtube of cricket devices working on the 4g network and mine does not. When connect the 4G internet does not work. Please help me !
To avoid some questions, my youtube app is updated to the most recent version and the flash player is also fully updated to 11 and above and the OS version is 2.3.3. Once again, thanks for any help , the phone is HTC EVO 4G and my plan is the $45 but I've heard that it does work as well. One more thing. Is is possible to receive email notifications on it ?
