The thing is that since there is no root for Gingerbread yet I need to be on the Android plan.
Its just that there's NO WAY to get the idiots in customer service to put you on it.

A corporate store or a cricket dealer?
And if so, won't they just tell me no and try to get me to buy a Cricket phone?

Authorized Dealer.. Honestly in your area, or really any area, you're better off with a Cricket phone. I can change it for you if you send me the money via paypal.

Well now tell them you have a Huawei Ascend 2 and your Internet is not working. Tell them you think something is wrong with your plan and ask if you should be some on 55 dollar plan cause you're only paying 45 lol.
