Pull battery, stick back in, hold power+ volume down at same time. Once that screen comes up, use your volume key to toggle down to recovery, hit power to select. This should get you to recovery where you can wipe and restore your backup.

    HTC EVO Flashed

WHere did you download MiKG? I had no issues when i downloaded it from
    theMikMik.com • Home

. The only point I had a Nail Biter was when it was doing something in recovery and stayed on the screen for like 10 min but then it reboted itself and worked fine!

Also when fooling with your phone in this manner you have to naturally know you could brick your phone at anytime. Its always best to have a Backup phone just in case this happens. for instance I am about to get the HTC EVO 3D and flash it over, I could very easily sell my HTC EVO 4G for a great sum of money and pay my electric bill or something but will keep it just in case.

Good Luck And if you get to MiKG 2.2 you will love it! Thus far I find it amazing!

Also when doing Updates to new roms NEVER Turn it off!!! I personally let it take up to 24hrs if its still doing a certain process after 24hrs it probally wont be doing it and then its time to drop the batt or whatever.

Also have you flashed and installed new ROMS personally or going by the Videos and stuff. I am assuming you have flashed rooted and all that. I have seen you around, I was just wondering lol

I downloaded it from there at themikmik.com...I was just backing it up and restoring my old Rom when this happened...I like it but didnt like that I couldn't figure out how to get the mms and YouTube going...it was irritating...I'm downloading the mikg v2.3 now...hoping that would be a bit better...anyway...I do have a flashed, rooted, phone with a installed Rom and I did do it myself...lol...I know I'm still considered new I think....joined last month....
