    switching between 3g and 1x

    Hi all i have a flashed evo 4g and from time to time it switches to 1x and if someone tries to call me while its on 1x the calls get sent straight to voicemail is there anyway i can stop it from going into 1x? thanks for the help.

    only thing i can think of is the flash is not set up correctly..i have flashed tons of these for cricket and never once had any problem
    but it also took me a few days to get the flash file Correct for cricket...all i can say is start fresh from sprints flash...phone needs to be put back to stock to achieve that!!! RUU

    Since when RUU puts NAM settings back to sprint?
    If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?

    You are switching back and forth due to reception this can be a simple prl issue or a hardware issues. Last but not least could be just your location if you are on the edge for 3g coverage. Same as a signal issue. Now missing a call while in 1x thats odd.

    You might want to recheck that. Have been doing this for a while, and none of the HTC RUUs have removed NAM settings. It does not even change the banner name. EVDO fields stay the same. If you are talking ROM changes, that can happen with some. But RUU-nope!
