*Attention* ALL CRICKET UESER"S WHO USE SPRINT PHONES VM ISSUE.

I'm seeing tons of theses threads. Listen up.

THIS IS NOT A CRICKET ISSUE.

This is a Sprint/Phone issue. Sprint is a *** idiot, instead of doing standard MWI (Message Waiting Indicator)
Instead they use DATA for all voice mail information.

In order to fix this either
    A) Download Voice mail Notifier
    B) Patch the Phone.apk to support the standard MWI protocol.

Thats you're only two options. THERE IS NO MAGIC TRICK TO GETTING YOUR VOICEMAIL INDICATOR WORKING WITH OUT EITHER A OR B..

Do you have a link to where I can get the patch for phone.apk? I tried a little Google searching and couldn't find anything relevant.

avillal87- That might work for some roms, or older one yes. The MWI needs a voicemail number configured in the phone to work properly. Some of these stock roms DO NOT ALLOW you to edit the voice mail number, when you click on the settings in remote invokes the sprint-vtt.apk settings. The roms that do this are the ones that will not get Voicemail notifications.
