no it wont deactivate and yes you can use qpst depending on what phone u have if its an evo or evo 3d you could find and install the espt.apk floating around the internet and change prl right from you phone by dialing ##PRL#

Hello all Im new to Cricket but not to mobile phones. I just had a question or two.

I need to know if anyone has the prl for Cleveland, Ohio?

Also do I need to have cricket service before I flash my Droid Inc2 over to cricket?

I tried flashing my phone using the video guide in the OP of the Tut. thread and I got a warning for the NV error, I ignored that as suggested but the phone did not restart. It is still flaashed to Verizon.

Also what prl is the thread would be good for my area?

Thanks in advance for any help.

45213 worked amazing 10 miles north of milwaukee. Then in milwaukee the internet got slow and there's still complete dead spots(no text, calling, or internet). Also there's an issue where youre in a deadspot that you have to go out of the non dead spot and have to restart your phone to get service again.

let me emphasize the service 10 miles north of milwaukee was AMAZING.

Here is 45613cricket (set to "permissive") joined with 21083sprint. I think its suppose to look for preferred cricket towers listed in the prl first, then it looks for other towers not listed in the prl. Such as Cricket, Sprint, Verizon?. So if it locks on a Verizon tower because it cant find a Cricket tower, you wont be able to make a call (until a few mins later when it rescans and hopefully finds a cricket/sprint tower). At least, i think thats how it works. I'm still reading and experimenting. Try at your own risk.45613crkt21083sprintpermissive.prl

It works on every Sense 3.5 rom I have tried.

this rom does not work in diag mode. not sure why it worked for you and not me, but it will show diag mode, but when i hook up the usb in debug mode it does not connect. I reflashed twice just to be sure.

Only you can answer that question. Which PRL in this thread worked best for you so far?

I tried several PRL's, some worked fine, im using 42900 right now (in Houston).

What ROM are you using? Are you on the $45 or $55 plan? Run speedtest and report your ping, down and up speeds.
