I am in desperate need of a 45553 or Charleston, SC PRL. I've tried most of these and I'm stuck in 1xRTT.

Charleston is a regular market. Most of the prls have to give you 3g. What phone are you flashing?
If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?

Kyocera echo. I have 3g but on a sprint 1xrtt tower. The charlotte prl gives me evdo at least in some areas. I feel dumb for not getting the prl from my zio before I sold it

Ok. Unzip and try this one. This one is taken directly from the huawei in Maryland. It is not exactly that prl, but something original from Cricket. It is one of the 455-families.

Trying it now. I'll let you know! Thanks!

Still same ridiculously slow connection. 32526 (charlotte) seems to be the only one that will kick on EVDO on the same tower.

Hmmmmmmm, I do not think it is a prl issue at this point. I deal with Charlotte customers a lot, and they do not have this issue on their flashed phones.

try hybrids that are here (cricket+sprint). 42900 is ok too.

I will post my QPST settings screenshots. Maybe that will help. I did notice that before I changed the M.IP settings to the Cricket information that the Sprint data was insanely fast but I had no Voice. Just data only. I'm pretty avid with QPST now so I'm pretty sure we can get this figured out. I'm working on a legit tutorial for this phone as well because it seems every tutorial I found was really vague about where to find the SPC and other settings.

Here is that maryland PRL set to permissive and joined with a sprint PRL. Permissive is suppose to let it connect to towers not in the PRL list (...and maybe other CDMA systems like verizon, but i'm not real sure yet). I tried it here in houston and it made a call. The speed was almost exactly the same as the 45751 hybrid im using right now.

Dina, i'm still reading up on PRL's. I set a flag for permissive but i'm thinking there may be another set of flags to set to get true permissive. So that PRL may only work as a regular hybrid. Someday soon, i'll dig deeper into it and test out a few hacked PRL's.

wiseoldman, I tried that PRL for kicks while I was driving around earlier. For some reason, Even after I was 40 miles away from my home where I departed. I was still connected to the same Sprint tower, Dropping down to 1 bar and no service. I am in a major city with tons of coverage for Cricket.

This is my first time using a flashed Cricket phone. I was previously using a Cricket Zio and I always had 3 or more bars all over the city. And blazing fast 3g speeds at my house and downtown Charleston. I'm reading -1 kpbs download and 02 kbps upload and a ping of 2811 ms via OpenSignalMaps.

And Dina, I checked that Revision box, No change.
