If some one will post a few cricket S3 & S4 PRL's, i'll make some new hybrids to experiment with. Probably wont give you any better LTE service due to carrier specific LTE bands, but should give you better 3G & 3G roaming.

My current Cricket phone is using PRL Number 45506 and I am assuming that's what I need to flash my Droid Razr Maxx XT912 to Cricket. Where can I find '45506'? Location is Tucson, Arizona.

    Thanks

It does not have to be that in particular, but you can pull it from your old phone most likely.
If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?

I'm not sure which PRL to use for my Droid Razr Maxx XT912.

I have been using flashed phones with cricket for a couple years now and I seem to always get nothing better than 60 kb/s down and 60 kb/s up which imo is horrible.

I live in a triband area, Madison Wisconsin, and that could be the reason. I am in the cricket market according to their map. I recently bought an HTC Desire C Cricket branded phone and used it for 3 months, speeds on this phone in my area are about the same, never over 90 kb/s. I bought an HTC EVO 4G LTE and flashed it to cricket. I pulled the PRL from the Desire C and used it on my EVO and still get the same horrible speeds 60/60. I have set all the settings in DFS correctly I assume cause 3G connects just fine and I have working mms voice and all. I was hoping someone could tell me why I get such horrible speeds no matter what PRL, stock pulled with *228 or with any hybrid.

In any case here is my pulled PRL from a triband market for others to test.

PS. THANK GOD Cricket in the near future will use GSM phones with AT&T's 4G network

I'm looking for an updated Dayton OHIO PRL. I have 35045 from a previous thread and it works decent but not great data speeds.

If anyone could tell me how to read the one off of my wife's Cricket S3, then I could just read hers (and I would post it). But for some reason, I can't even get hers into diagnostic mode to read it. ##DIAG# doesn't work, maybe it's another sequence on hers?

Also, I'm using DFS and it can't write a hybrid PRL, so I can't test any of those, what can I use to write those?

For prl, select "About Phone or "About Device" in settings. Select "Status". Scroll down to "PRL Version". I use a modified Sprint app called "Sprint Diagnostics" I found on XDA to flash PRLs. Also gives MSL code. Fast and easy. Never tried on a Cricket branded S3 though.
