    not sure why it won't work. May have to google search it. I've been on Cricket for a month and just keep doing trial/error on everything. Still learning myself.

    You were placed under the Motorola phone to ensure all the proper codes were put in. Mainly MMS and WAP.

    While roaming at FT Bullish, my data speeds were very slow also, but I was surprised just to be getting anything at all.

    I would consult other flashed phone users in your area specifically.

    Does it matter what if CPE smartphone or android OS is registered under your cricket account? Do they all just identify the phone or does each identifier do a different thing (e.g: CPE feature phone gets the reguler unlimited service while CPE android OS gets the unlimited android service).

    I have CPE featured phone registered and my phone has the android OS.

    1050______ 100 987 480

    35513 is what Cricket is pushing to my phone when I *228.
    38003 is one I had notes on previous tests being good, so figured I'd give it a shot too
    1050 is what my original EVO came with when the store I bought it from did the flash

    35513 had weaker signal and low speeds when I was at a friend's house closer to Denver/Englewood yesterday, phone calls were OK though.
    I should be going there again next week, will keep 1050 in place to see if it helps.
    I just tested 38003, 42700, and the new 45722 Hybrid. Lakewood, CO (10min west of downtown Denver)

    38003 = 94ms - 642dl 497up
    42700 = 134ms - 580dl 372up
    45722 hybrid = 214ms - 336dl 522up
    Cricket 35313 and Sprint 60678 = 156ms - 454dl 598up

    The phone was tested in the exact same spot on my desk here. 38003 game me the most bars, followed by 42700 and 45722 in last.

    EDIT : Just did the Cricket 35313 and Sprint 60678 for the heck of it. 156ms - 454dl 598up Signal a little less than the 42700.

    They help use get you on different plans and not throw up flags if you call customer service. The phone that's set will limit what plans anyone can give you. If I were a customer service rep, I'd ask you why you're o the $45 plan if you have a CPE Smartphone Android OS. If you wanted to go on the $55 Android plan (faster, but throttled at 1GB), I'd put your on CPE Smartphone Android OS.

    Note that I'm over 1GB and haven't been throttled yet.

    Added 45713 and hybrid with newer Sprint PRL.

    This was from a *228 performed in Austin today.

    Test/Experimental Hybrid: These PRLs have been custom made and we're looking for people to test them and post results. So far so good. They seem to work well in AWS areas in particular. Note that you won't be able to dial *228 most likely or do any forwarding while on that PRL. Flash over another PRL to do that and then switch. You don't need to use *228 for flashed phones anyways.

    I do, but am out of town and it's on my desktop at home (and I didn't set up my vpn right apparently, since I can't connect )I'll try to remember to upload it here next week.Also on the subject of PRLs and coverage, no way to get coverage in Mariposa, CA is there? Tried a few PRLs with 0 luck, had to download grooveip to make an important call over hotel wifi.

    I might have to flash this latest PRL and give it a shot- last night I had to drive to Columbia, SC and I had NO partner coverage (Sprint in this area) even though Cricket's website shows partner coverage all over the area. Had to enable roaming and then I had Verizon signal all over the place.

    I was in the same city about a month and a half ago and had no such problem. Weird. I think when I was there last I had a newer PRL loaded; I switched to 34113 because that one gave me the fastest speeds.

    sniperxxx, FWIW 34113 works very well in the Charlotte area but I found out not so well near Columbia SC.
    Not sure if that helps you

    To hopefully resolve the above issue, I did a *228 since I had no time today to hook up the computer I normally use to flash my PRLs (I like to do them through QPST).

    The OTA flash gave me PRL 35513. I did a speedtest and got:
    ping: 108ms
    down: 1063kbps
    up: 378kbps

    ...pretty good, I'll stick with this for a while and see if it lets me use the Sprint towers in Columbia again.
