    Speeds

First off, I would like to thank the developer of this greenk45 app. This app saves a lot of people headaches, including myself, and it does work. One small change in the MMS server setting in EPST and MMS is working as well. I do have a question for all of the cricket guru's out there and some speed comparisons for anyone split between the 45 plan or the 55 plan.
Hopefully someone can figure this one out as I am lost. I have the EVO fully rooted and switched to cricket with everything working on the 45 plan and the Jimmy V ROM. I first started out on the (60z) Droid plan and ran several speed tests at mobilespeedtest.com that gave me results of 2500-3500kbs. I switched to the 45 plan and my speeds have gone to 20-200kbs on the same test and the web is a crawl at best.
I decided to pull out my old Touch Pro and Touch Pro 2 (still setup on the same proxy user account) to see how they were testing again. I am getting the same super speeds I used to get on them of 3000-7000kbs. Again this is on the very same user account that the EVO is on and no I am not on Wi-Fi by mistake. Confused as to why I am getting such better speeds on the TPs I started doing some side by side comparing using EPST and QPST. First off I found that the EVO was using the (Droid) OTA provided PRL of 35106 and the TPs were using 38944. So I switched the EVO to the same PRL 38944 and now the speed tests are doing a pretty steady 200-500kbs. This is MUCH better and I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone using proxy (45 plan) as now the web is actually usable.
It improved 10 fold by changing to a non-droid PRL, but it is still not the same as what the TPs are doing right in my other hand on the same account. I then matched EVERY setting in QPST possible and I am still only getting 200-500kbs. I dont understand how every setting could be the same but yet still have such a huge difference in speed. To my knowledge the TPs still had to do the same proxy workaround that this app does as I have the CAB file that I run on the TPs to get the data to work. If anyone would like to review it to see if there is something in there unlocking the proxy PM me with your email and I will send it.

    Works great

FYI, cricket has been having data issues all weekend. More so on the proxy side as even my buddies "dumbphone" has been out.. The APP works great!! The only things I can say about my earlier post regards to speed are: Yes, the Droid Plan (aka 60z) is faster; the TP's apperently handle data speeds better than this EVO; and the best I can tell the PRL change did help things a bit. All in all this is a GREAT APP and I am glad someone has put this into a APK, thank you again for making this for everyone with your time. The install is very straightforward. Install APK via a "file explorer", run "greenK45 APP, click everything it asks. I could only get the "domain" to work. Not sure what "IP based" is for, but it's there in case your area needs it, I guess..

    EVO 4G Cricket

Hi I'm new here I just joins in hopes of getting my cricket flashed Droid (A855) to work correctly.
I followed the guide and the web wouldn't work 3g icon never showed up either. I tried the greenk45 (both ways) the 3g icon showed up with it but is always grey. Any ideas how I can get 3g going?

Forgot to mention I've had the same prob with 5 different ROMs I've tried I'm currently using peter Alfonso's 2.3.4.
