DAMN! Glad I read all the way through before purchasing...
Sounds promising and I would gladly pay $1o, THIS SECOND, to fix the MMS issue on my GS2.
But at the same time, offering support based on the fact that you pay, then NOT offering it sounds sketch.
I like what you are doing. If you ever have a stable version for ICS please contact me. I will gladly donate
    to your cause 10-15.

I'm still not getting any response after a month and a half of attempts. I've tried emailing directly and via the msg system on this forum. I'm getting the impression the app may no longer be supported. That's unfortunate. Working MMS would really be nice. If anyone has any alternatives please let me know.

EDIT: Got a response and code today. Testing now......

ANOTHER EDIT: The mmsfix app works great. Definitely worth the money. A few $ to fix a huge head ache is definitely worth it. BTW it works on ICS too. Installed CM9b6 on my E4GT and the mmsfix cured my last problem. I'm keeping this setup as my daily driver.

1st off (in my opinion) I don't believe in people making others pay for anything such as this, let the good people donate. Especially when there are other SMS Apps that are guaranteeing to work and be backed up by their dev's. Anyway, I found a work around (but here is the catch: it cost $15....LOL! Jk.) I can get pics coming in but cannot send one. I tried this on my Evo 3D on Team Dirt's unofficial AOKP JB Rom. Idk on any other rom or phone. Do a backup and give it a try.

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING, FOLLOW THE INSRUCTIONS BELOW INVOLVING CRICKET’S APN SETTINGS…
Open voice dialer and say: “Open APN’s.
Change the APN’s to match the following:

    name: cricket
    APN: wap.mycricket.com
    proxy: not set
    port: not set
    username: YOURPHONENUMBER@mycricket.com
    password: cricket
    server: not set
    Mms.apk

    MMSC: http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms
    mms proxy: not set
    mms port: 8080
    mcc: 310
    mnc: 120
    authentication type: pap or chap
    apn type: mms
    apn protocol: ipv4
    apn roaming protocol: ipv4
    bearer: unspecified

    1. Download the attachment that says Mms.apk
    2. Put it on the ROOT (meaning in no folders) of your sd card
    3. Download and install Root Explorer or any kind of File Explorer (ES Explorer, is another one.)
    4. Once installed on your device, open it and give it root access by clicking on granted (if SuperSU) or accept (if Superuser.)
    5. Open either app you have and follow this path: system>app
    6. Once there, look up on right hand corner of root explorer and push where it says: Mount R/W
    7. Now it should say: Mount R/O
    8. Scroll down until you find Mms.apk in your system>app directory
    9. Once found, push and hold until a box menu comes up and click on: MOVE
    10. After doing so there will be PASTE & CANCEL
    11. DO NOT MESS WITH THOSE TWO BOXES YET!!!
    12. Back out of app
    13. Back out of system
    14. Push sdcard
    15. Go to your “download” folder and push: PASTE
    16. Back out of your ”download” folder
    17. In your sdcard directory find the Mms.apk you downloaded from the attachment and hold until the menu pops up.
    18. Push: COPY
    19. Back out of sdcard
    20. Push system>app
    21. Then push: PASTE
    22. Scroll down until you find the freshly pasted Mms.apk
    23. Push and hold it until a menu pops up
    24. Then push: PERMISSIONS
    25. Set up your permissions like this:

    Owner: Read, Write
    Group: Read
    Others: Read

    26. Now push ok.
    27. Reboot. Enjoy.

mraab's app cost me 1/4 of one lap dance and allowed me and my ex-girlfriends to text-battle. Such is the price of luv, lol. Can someone post some mms user agents of cricket branded phones (like the merc or iphone) so i can try them out in mraab's app?

FYI, i'm running his GB app on CM10 and it works. His ICS app doesnt have a black background option so i'm using his GB app which does.

If you are having issues with mraab's apk for ICS. Download go sms pro. Disable notifications in stock. Download mraabs app. Then reboot. First thing you want to do is start mraab's app. After that, you can use it with no issues. Just anytime you reboot, you have to make sure you click on that app first before starting any other messaging. On ICS it keeps being replaced with the stock, and if you disable stock's notification, then it does not, but then you won't get notified. That's when Go sms comes into place. I know it is a hassle to use both apps, but you only need the green app for sending, it auto receives and shows in go sms anyways. This workaround is for "non-rooted" phones. So hope it helps.
If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?

interesting..... but boy thats alot of work. why not just download apn backup and restore, turn off ICS check and change apn that way? no reason to change the mms.apk

apn backup and restore, turn off ICS check, backup apn, open apn file with a notepad type app (i use the one that comes with esfile explorer), change apn settings as above, save, restore apn and rewrite over old one
