    Oi Oriax!

Was not successful (Ascend II). CWM flashed properly, but there was no Update.zip found by CWM when attempted FastRoot method. What am i missing here?

Yea forgot some files. You can root it via custom recovery. Google "android su .zip" something like that.

The reason you need the zip is bcz it'll install superuser and the binary file needed for it to work. You have to do it via recovery.

    No luck

I tried all the methods with this tool and no root. :c
I've scoured the internet and there are no tutorials for my device either.
Any Idea where to go from here?
My phone is the Huawei Ascend Q (M660)

This doesn't seem to work... I already have CWM (touch-based, if that makes a difference...).

I have USB debugging enabled, install from 3rd party enabled, phone is plugged in to PC... When I run your program, it acts as though it is going through the process (extremely quickly, takes like 2 seconds until it tells me it's done), but nothing actually happens on my phone... Am I missing a step here? Does the phone need to be in fastboot mode (pink screen)? Or do I need to do something else that I'm missing here?

I know I can always use the Poot-Debug.apk method, but I wanted to try this out...

    Huawei Mercury (M886)
    Revokster Rom
    CWM Recovery (touch-based)

    Edit: Poot-debug doesn't work anymore...
