My Guess is that Cricket won't provision 4G service to a phone that is not a Cricket phone. 4G LTE requires a sim card and reprogramming it to Cricket service probably won't be the easiest thing to do. Probably have to clone a donor card and why if you already got the card would you need to clone it.

IN SHORT PROBABLY THE ONLY WAY TO GET 4G SERVICE FROM CRICKET IS TO GET A 4G CRICKET PHONE.

There is always away around anything though.
