    Hybrid PRL Chat

The original purpose of the hybrid PRL (combined Cricket/Sprint preferred roaming list) was to ensure connectivity while in AWS tri band areas. Most Cricket phones are tri band and support 800/1900 mhz CDMA plus AWS (TX: 1900/RX: 2100 mhz). Of course minus LTE and WiMax, Verizon and Sprint phones are dual band CDMA (800/1900 mhz).

Alright, so I was informed a couple of times that AWS areas like Chicago, Maryland, etc do not require hybrid PRLs now.

Can someone try to use the normal 45513 PRL in that area and post your results?

    Thanks in advance.

In Vegas I don't need a hybrid prl for internet or anything else to work.
45722 is the current prl on my DroidX but I did flash the hybrid to my dads DroidX and it seems to work the same.

I'm in Maryland and I tried this PRL. It's working but it seems like 3G is going in and out. Is that normal? I'm on a Droid Incredible 2 by the way

Thank you... So I'm guessing it's true that hybrid PRLs are not required.

Glad I could help. FYI I switched to the 45722 Hybrid prl and seem to have better results.
