    MEIDs not approved by Cricket

I have a couple of phones to flash, one an LG Revolution and the other an HTC Thunerbolt. Both are LTE 4G phones and have an Meid starting with 990. I read somewhere that Cricket will not activate a phone unless the MEID starts with 268 or 270. Can anyone confirm if this is the case or not.

    thanks
    Mike

You don't have an meid if it starts with 990. Thats a IMEI. You need to convert it to an meid and they will likely accept it. I have done both of those phones in my store with no issue.

    Thanks
On the phone itself, the 990 number is listed under MEID/IMEI. I wasn't sure.

Delete the very last number from the 99 number and convert that using a meid converter. End result should be a 256 number and Cricket will accept that

Just to correct what Wolf said.
The 99 number is the MEID, its the MEID HEX. Cricket needs the MEID DEC to activate the device.
