Exclamation Newbie Help with Flashing please :-/

I have spent many hours reading these threads and learning what I can about flashing my phone. I have done everything up to the final steps where you open up command prompt, but my computer will not recognize the commands. I do not know if maybe my computer is too old or if a file is out of place somewhere. I would really appreciate any help that may be given

In command prompt my computer does not recognize the "adb" command. I am trying to do the $45 plan.

Did you add adb to your environment variables?

I'm guessing you don't have the have the android sdk. So you have to download that and extract it. It'll be easier if you extract it at the root of your hard drive which is C: . And in the command prompt you have to travel to where you extracted the folder and have adb. For example for me the command is cd C:/android/tools/ and then I would enter adb shell command to start adb. But if that's too hard for you I really recommend the Greenk45 app. It's just so much easier and I have no problems like I did with the u2nl and it's only 1.99
