Is it possible for an individual to flash an iphone 4 to cricket for personal use?

Now I've been looking around the forums for a couple days and even went as far as to get halfway with the flashing process through apple flasher only to be told to pay $75 for one month unlimited access. Now my question is, is it possible to have access to one of these flashing programs / is there another method to flash my iphone (it's a verizon 16gb iphone 4) to cricket?

I am not a flasher and I'm relatively new to all this, I'm just trying to get this phone to work on cricket since I already have cricket service which has been in good standing. I essentially just want to change phones.

Right now I'm at the step where I need to open up iphone flasher but it keeps telling me I do not have enough credits. It does not make sense to me to pay $75 for this service if it's just a one time thing for me and I won't be doing this as a service to others.

Sorry if this is in the wrong subforum, just looking for answers since I just bought the phone today and thought the process would be relatively simple until I hit this roadblock.

thanks for the reply! means a lot

Yes I've actually sifted through that thread as well watched the youtube videos and I believe you still have to purchase the cdma dfs tool that chris uses ( I think you have to upgrade to light for $50) So I was looking for a method for end users but I suppose that's probably the only one seeing as how dfs is $50 per phone correct?
