Sending Long Texts and Double Texts

Just wanted to let you guys know that if you have problems on Android devices sending texts over 160 characters, that you mouth want to try a third party application. Handcent can break up long texts into multiple texts.

On the other hand watch out for Handcent sending double texts. You might want to consult your recipient.

There are alternatives such as Chomp SMS. Just look at the settings of these programs and see what they are capable of.

Go SMS is another good one. I used Handcent forever, but got real sick of the double incoming messages. Switched to GO awhile back and have loved it. Very customizable and splits large messages easily.
    Try it!

I actually prefer it to switch to an MMS instead of multiple text messages but some people don't have MMS or get charged differently so at times it is better to break down into multiple text messages. It's nice to know how to do it each way though.

    Thanks!

Yeah Go sms is really good! I even use it to send mms because I couldn't get it to work on my phone. But this app does the trick
