    questions,
    1. is your phone in PC mode?
    2. is "NVT Enabled" on the second tab unchecked?
    3. make sure you don't have a typo? "192.168.16.2" and the Port field reads 11008 (I accidentally had 1.62 once , only reason I ask)
    4. still won't connect? try a different com port (I used 15)
    5. Have you tried restarting your computer? sometimes the com gets "stuck" and you just have to reboot to get it to connect

    Should say "connected"

Yes it should say "connected" not closed

Only question you didn't answer was did you try restarting your pc? The port may get stuck

Also try a few different com ports, just make sure they are above com 10 and you restart your pc in-between trying each one

Only other things I can suggest are
    1. Drivers? Try reinstalling
    2. Try a different USB port

I was in the same boat with my Dinc 1 (or it may have been D1, I can't remember )... Spent a full day banging my head on the desk 'cause I followed the steps to the letter.. So I finally decided to just try it on a different computer.. Amazingly, it worked on the first try.. Dunno why, other than its pretty easy, in the process of changing this/checking that/reinstalling this to forget something and/or not restart..

So, for what its worth, might wanna try a different comp if you have access to one.. I ended up doing it on a Toshiba laptop with Win7 x64 instead of the Windows XP one that I use everyday..
