Flower Mound Texas, Cricket Coverage and 4G

I currently live in Katy,TX which is on the west side of Houston. My home is for sale and hopefully I will be relocating to Flower Mound, TX in the very near future.I have always had excellent service , reception, voice clarity, overall great experience with Cricket. However, my very new Samsung indulge was stolen a few days ago so I reactivated my old Samsung messenger touch until I decide which smart phone to buy? I am also wondering about 4G , with the new service I read you will need a 4 G device. I don't want to invest in a high end phone then move to the Dallas/ Fort worth area and discover the service and reception are not very good. If you are a cricket user in that part of Texas please provide your experience?

    Katy... my home town.

Anyways, why would you need a 4G device? Cricket isn't providing 4G service on phones anywhere yet. I'm pretty sure Flower Mound is close to our sister Army unit which is in Lewisville. I have never had reception issues in Dallas. This is not a home Cricket market though. From what I know, you won't be able to change your address to one there. You also risk losing your service due to the move. You can ride it out and report back.

Only available plans for that area are Paygo. Either hold on to your normal plan as long as you can or pick up a Cricket Paygo account.
Please check the forum and post there before PMing me. I have over 674 unread PMs due to the fact that they are issues which should have been addressed here.

I guess I wasn't clear I was just wondering if I would be wasting my money to buy somethiung like the new mercury phone which is 3g if 4g would be rolled out soon. I had heard and read somewhere it is already in some markets and under the impression it would be every where by June or July?

I'm skeptical that 4G is available and working for phones in many areas by then. Also looking at the Dallas area, where Cricket doesn't even have a home market to begin with, I doubt you'd be able to get 4G there within the next year.

Just my guess based on the factors.
