Looking into a new phone....help is needed

I currently use a Samsung Transfix (SCH-R730) and I love it. My giant downside is the screen. I dont like the small screen on it and I cant play a few favorite games on there (like Songpop, and Draw Something).

I'm unsure on which phone to get and have flashed over to Cricket. I dont want to pay an arm and a leg on a new phone and just for it not to work. I've looked online (ebay, amazon and craigslist)

I would like some input from other cricket users.

    What I'm looking for:
    - a bigger screen
    - more space (not really worried, got a 16gb micro card)
    - slide-out qwerty keyboard a huge problem.

    Thanks in advance

Any particular size screen? Or just anything larger than 3.2?? And when you say the keyboard is a problem, do you mean you want or don't want one?

    I'm with trill on the keyboard. I would say an S3 seeing how it only costs a leg not an arm.... but the Motorola RAZR is looking pretty sexy(;

what I meant to say (regarding the keyboard) is that the QWERTY keyboard is not a huge problem, I can use both the slide out keyboard and the onscreen keyboard.

For the screen size, I want something larger than 3.2, and I want to be able to play draw something and songpop on it without any problems (I cannot get songpop on my transfix.)

I've been looking on ebay and found a HTC and a Droid that looks like they would work for me but I'm unsure which one to get. lol

HTC what and Droid what? I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions lol. I'd recommend maybe a Evo 4G though. 4.3 inch screen, faster processor than the transfix, 8mp camera and you can usually find em on eBay for about a Pinky as opposed to an entire arm. I mean hey, who actually uses there pinky?

The human doesn't need their pinky toe anymore and one day we will be born without them.. fact.. in that case go for an X .. better chance of it actually working more than the evo on cricket. And also think- these phones are outdated so do expect problems with newer games and updates

I still rather have an Evo over the Merc (on GB).

Agreed. But a brand new or close to brand new evo is CLOWNING! Or just buy one with a good motherboard and separately buy a housing and screen and you have yourself a badass phone!

Of course I did quickly scan this post. With the bigger screens, I almost find the QWERTY keyboard just time consuming. Swiftkey does a great job of catering to the user.

The Photon Q would have been my choice if I still liked full keyboards. Of course that is probably a bank breaker. Remember you can recoup a lot of your money when you resell these devices for a newer one.

I just added a secure market that will handle the credit card transactions and ensure phone sales on the site between members are all protected.

I cannot stand using the swiftkey on the smartphones, I always end up with the wrong word or something. This was why I had said that the qwerty keyboards werent much of a problem. I can use either one, but my on transfix, its smaller and harder to type on it lol.

I have been using Swiftkey on devices like the RAZR and now the S3. On the S3, it's a monster. Crazy good :-).
